Yesterday Google presented there new online musicshop in Los Angeles, named Google Music. In the footsteps of Apples iTunes Store Google now offers US customers songs for Android. This stride turns Google and Apple into direct competitives. If and when Google Music will be offered in Germany is unknown and seems iffy. By now Google has cooperations running with three of the four big music labels (Universal Music, EMI und Sony Music are inside). In so doing Warner Music is missing. Google plans to contrast about exclusive song material, for example by distributing old live material of the Rolling Stones. However, Google is running late as against Apple.
